On September 22, We Are Mirrors will host a concert at Refuge Church in Lynnwood, WA with Paper Lights and Civilized Creature. Doors will open at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 at the door.
Paper Lights is an Atlanta-based cinematic alt-pop band helmed by Dan Snyder and Josh Stewart. This year, Paper Lights released their crowdfunded sophomore album Everything Is Sound, which was which was recorded across the country in various National Parks, incorporating sound samples from their travels in innovative and exciting ways. Civilized Creature is the performing alias of Ryan Lane, a singer-songwriter from Gig Harbor, Washington who creates music best described as electronic folk-funk. Lane is a prolific recording artist, having released six full-length albums in the last four years. He constructs most of his songs through quirky samples and loops, exploring spiritual themes with a distinct voice and child-like wonder. Though Lane has performed live in the past with different bands, this concert will be the live debut of the Civilized Creature project.
