We Are Mirrors now presenting mixtapes, online radio shows on Mixcloud

We Are Mirrors is excited to expand content curation with new mixtapes and a monthly radio show on Mixcloud.

I love music, but I can’t write about all of it. Whether due to a post’s lack of timeliness/relevance, my lack of free time, or my lack of coherent, detailed thoughts on an album, not every record/song/artist that I love can get a written feature on this site. As a way to feature more of the music I love, a forthcoming monthly online radio show — to be titled “Mirror Dimension Radio” — is in development. This series will feature 60-90 minute mixes of music I’ve been listening to the most during that month, in addition to some rarities and deep cuts from my collection.

I have played with the idea of playlist curation in the past (some of you may remember WAM Weekend Mixtapes), but I wanted greater control over track order and transitions, so the Mixcloud platform seemed to be the best choice. This also allows me to feature artists and songs that aren’t on Apple Music or Spotify. Furthermore, Mixcloud doesn’t require an account for streaming.

While I am finalizing the precise details for Mirror Dimension Radio, I will be uploading some of my old curatorial mixtapes on the We Are Mirrors Mixcloud page. You can stream the first of these uploads below.
